The 2017 Homecoming game was a night of heat, humidity and fun! The Franklin Grizzly Cubs Football team lead by Senior Tyler Fromer and Sophomore Drew Byerly took the field for the annual meeting with the Pioneers of Mooresville High School. The Cubs defense started the night with a quick forced punt then the offense led by QB Drew Byerly took the field. The Cubs marched down and Senior Tyler Fromer punched the first score of the night in from the 7yrd line. Numerous Grizzly Cubs got in on the action. With Fromer scoring 2 rushing TD’s, Byerly scoring 2 rushing TD’s, Hunter Samples scoring 1 rushing TD, and both Noah Crow and Blake Dicken combining for 2 Receiving Touchdowns. The Grizzly Cub defense was led by Clayton Coll with 8 tackles and Nate Sellers with 4 pressures and 1 sack.

Congratulations to Coach Coll on his first win as the Head Coach of Franklin!! The Grizzly Cubs take the field again this Friday 9/29 @ Plainfield for another Mid-State Conference game. See you there!!
